Strawberry Panna Cotta

  • 200ml of milk
  • 200ml of whipping cream
  • 1/2 tablespoon of gelatin powder
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract or fresh vanilla
  • 450g of fresh strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons of water
  • 1/3 cup of sugar


  1. Dissolve the gelatin in the water and let it sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Bring to a simmer the whipping cream, milk and sugar.
  3. Remove from the heat once the sugar has dissolved and add the vanilla.
  4. Let it sit for 5 minutes then add the gelatin.
  5. Separate the mixture in your ramekin and refrigerate for 4 hours.
  6. For the sauce, cut the strawberries into pieces and then bring to a simmer with 1/3 cup of sugar and water.
  7. Put in a mixer then pass the mixture through a strainer.
  8. Let it cool and pour the sauce over the panna cotta before serving.
