Vegetarian pizza with caprese

4 pizzas


  • 4 Adonis pita
  • 125ml (1/2 cup) basil pesto
  • 500ml (2 cups) cherry tomatoes, cut in half
  • 1 container of 200g of sliced bocconcini
  • 80ml (1/3 cup) small fresh basilic leaves


  1. Preheat the oven to 205C (400F).
  2. On two baking sheets lined with parchment paper, place the pitas.
  3. Brush the pitas with the basil pesto. Garnish with cherry tomatoes and bocconcini. Salt and pepper.
  4. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until the pitas are golden and crisp.
  5. When ready to serve, garnish with basil leaves.
