Beef stroganoff

Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 2 tbsp soya sauce
  • 450 ml cooking cream
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 kg beef tenderloin strips
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation

  1. In a large skillet, over medium heat, cook the onion and mushrooms in 2 tablespoons of butter until they turn goldish and soft.
  2. In the same skillet, add the beef tenderloin and cook over medium heat for 7-8 minutes. Add the mustard and soya sauce, then the cooking cream. Stir the whole mixture and let it cook for 20 minutes .
  3. Remove from pan and serve it with a side rice or pasta.
