Kibeh nayyeh and Kafta nayyeh (beef tartare)
Kibeh nayyeh and Kafta nayyeh are specialties of traditional Lebanese cuisine. Kibeh Nayyeh is a lamb tartare often surfaced with finely crushed bulgur (cracked wheat), onion, mint and spices. It is usually accompanied by pita bread. Kafta Nayyeh is a raw beef tartare, sometimes marinated but also prepared with onions, mint and spices.
