Sales Coordinator

Groupe Phoenicia Montreal is looking for a Sales Coordinator to work closely with the various departments of the company. He / She will be responsible for interpreting data, producing business reviews, coordinating meetings and following up on various sales department files in relation to the Metro group and other distribution chains. He / She will also be responsible for providing support to the Account Manager.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Interpret the data of the various internal IT platforms and those of the various clients;
  • Work closely with the marketing department on the various product launches for the banners;
  • Write and send promotional communications to the sales team;
  • Develop and prepare promotional plans and commercial activities in collaboration with the Account Director;
  • Complete and coordinate the various calls for tenders for the different product categories;
  • Assist the Director in the management of a team of retail representatives and merchandisers;
  • Follow up on product listings with banners;
  • Work closely with the Demand Planning team to ensure product and order availability;
  • Plan and organize sales meetings;
  • Carry out and coordinate the follow-up of the various projects with the other internal services;
  • Manage the various operational follow-ups and requests from distribution chains;
  • All other related tasks.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or sales;
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position
  • Advanced knowledge of the Office Suite (in particular Excel), SAP an asset
  • Bilingualism (French and English)
  • Experience in food distribution (an asset)
