Groupe Phoenicia is looking for a new member for its Montreal team. The sales manager is the ambassador of Phoenicia. He represents Phoenicia in the independent client trade segment. His role is to manage, supervise and coach his team in order to develop the sales force. He manages the key accounts of the sector. Member of the organization's management committee, he follows the strategy of the company in collaboration with the other members to achieve the established objectives. We are looking for an autonomous, dynamic and good interpersonal candidate. As this position involves great responsibilities as well as managing a team, we also want someone with experience in retail and distribution, as well as major account management.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Commercial strategy

  • Build the sales strategy by customer, territory, category, etc .;
  • Plan the activities of the sales department according to the objectives of the strategic plan;
  • Evaluate and optimize the department's work methodologies;
  • Participate in the commercial strategy, price and margin management; product development, etc.
  • Sales and budget Be responsible for its budget - sales and margin - and the actions to be implemented to achieve it;
  • Execute the distribution of budgets;
  • Directly manage the business relationship and sales of key accounts;
  • Participate in the various transversal meetings in collaboration with the other departments;

Team management

  • Coach, develop, manage team members;
  • Participate in the recruitment process in collaboration with human resources;
  • Set and monitor employee performance goals;
  • Manage and facilitate sales meetings.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Bachelor's degree in business / sales administration or similar fields
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in the food trade
  • Experience in major account management and category analysis
  • Experience in employee management
  • French and English bilingualism
  • Mastery of the office suite
