The role of a grocery store manager is to supervise an efficient work team to ensure the excellence of our customer service, while offering a wide variety of fresh and superior quality products, according to the standards of the Adonis group. He will have to manage the operations of his department according to the store's sales targets, while respecting government food hygiene and occupational safety standards.

Team management :

  • Ensure compliance with standards related to personal hygiene and the dress code of team members
  • Follow-up on training and development activities
  • Complete and submit evaluation forms
  • Establishment of staff schedules according to needs and established budget
  • Activities related to staff recruitment

Customer service :

  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the department
  • Management of customer complaints

Grocery Department:

  • Good knowledge of the different products offered
  • Establish and execute department merchandising plans and define food costs
  • Maintain inventory correctly to minimize insufficient / excess stocks
  • Monitoring of goods receipts and the accuracy of orders
  • Make sure displays and shelves are always full, attractive and clean
  • Adhere to and monitor all store food safety procedures
  • Complete the manager's tour daily
  • Other related tasks
