Groupe Phoenicia Montreal is looking for a dynamic candidate with good priority management for a negotiation and procurement assistant position in the purchasing department. The incumbent researches, compiles and analyzes all relevant information in order to assist the chief negotiator in decision-making and in the analysis of products and categories. He ensures the integral follow-up of the process of introducing new products, including the update or the opening of commercial agreements. It also ensures the entire process of cost price changes for Adonis. It supports the supplier in the follow-up of import files. Are you oriented towards quality work and good customer service? SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Initiate the procedure for referencing, delisting or modifying products for the Adonis banner as well as the purchasing center;
  • Follow up with suppliers for costs when introducing new products for all of our customers;
  • Act as a resource person for the various banners, suppliers or other customers of Phoenicia in relation to the resolution of problems related to the status of products and the cost structure;
  • Be responsible for communication and support for the process with the Adonis banner;
  • Validate and / or negotiate commercial agreements relating to new products with the chief negotiator Be responsible for receiving, validating, analyzing, recommending changes in costs, national brands and private brands;
  • Be responsible for entering into SAP cost changes and national brands for all sales organizations;
  • Support the supplier in the follow-up of import files and national purchases
  • Perform all other related tasks related to the position.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • DEC in business administration or related field
  • 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • Bilingual French and English
  • Mastery of the office suite
  • Good knowledge of SAP software
